How do I return an item?

You may return new books, unopened VHS tapes, DVDs, CDs and audio cassettes in their original condition within 30 days of shipment date (on packing slip). Please include your receipt (packing slip) with all returns.

You may also return products damaged during shipment and products shipped in error. Your return postage will be credited in case of returns due to damaged or incorrectly shipped products.

As a courtesy to our customers, if a product proves defective in either material or workmanship, it will be replaced without charge if returned to ARB within 90 days of shipment date (on packing slip). If we are not able to replace the product because it has been discontinued or is not available, we will replace it with a comparable product, credit your account or issue you a refund. This does not apply to failure of the product resulting from misuse, abuse, accident, neglect or mishandling, incorrect environments or wear from ordinary use. Your return postage will also be credited if the product is defective in either material or workmanship. ARB MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

How do I redeem an e-gift certificate?

Gift certificates from the Ayn Rand Books Store are the ideal solution when you can't seem to find the right gift for someone or you've waited until the last minute. Ayn Rand Bookstore gift certificates come in $25 denominations. We will send a catalog with each gift certificate. Order as many as you want in multiples of $25. We will credit any unused portion of the gift certificate(s). Presently gift certificates are only redeemable through phone or email orders.

When you order from us or sign up to receive catalogues, newsletters, new product notifications or other mailings by mail or by e-mail, we collect your personal data.

Periodically we exchange our mailing address list and our e-mail address list with other reputable companies and organizations. Other than your mailing address or e-mail address, we never disclose any other kind of customer data or payment data.

If you do not want your mailing address information or your e-mail address information to be exchanged, or you do not wish to receive information from our company, please send your removal request to our customer service representatives.

How do I get a print catalog?

We ship our full-color annual catalog to all current customers (those who have made a purchase within the last 18 months) in the Fall. If you are a new or returning customer and would like to receive a catalog, please call our customer service group (1-800-729-6149 or 1-949-222-6557) with your order and request a catalog at that time.
